The unique feature of Camp Africa is just that. Camping
under canvas. Not another old renovated building with high fences around
it. We are in touch with Nature.
 Our Canvas 8 person Lodge Tents, on rustic gum pole frames,
furnished with Double Bunks and Thick mattresses, are very comfortable,
waterproof and lots of fun. We have a huge 60 seater Canvas Enviro Tent,
equipped with wooden walk-in tables and benches for meals and presentations.
We have a Digital Projector and large Screen, DVD player and PA system
with substantial speakers and microphones for Talent shows. An equipped
Kitchen Tent with ample Fridge and Freezer space has all the cooking utensils
you would need and Braais and Braai grids are available.  Sit around the campfire beneath the stars in the ‘Out of Africa’ Boma, which features a ‘Juice Bar’ for drinks, juices, coffees or tea and doubles as the main serving area for meals.
There is sports equipment
such as Soccer balls, Volley ball Net and ball available for your enjoyment.
Our specially designed Eco Ablutions are secure, energy, water and waste
saving and consist of Flush Toilets connected to a Methane Digester, Piping
Hot Showers with Low flow shower heads and Baths and Basins, connected
to a Grey water irrigation system. The camp is powered by energy saving
lighting and electrical plugs. Recycling is actively encouraged. The camp
is in a safe,secure area. A secure swimming or surfing beach is 3kms from the farm atthenearby Scarborough Conservation Village.
Whether its South African Braai’s, Potjiekos or even
KFC, take advantage of our own in house catering (price on application) or
if you prefer to arrange for your own catering, through parents, you are
more than welcome.
Our Kitchen is equipped with Freezers, Fridge, Hot Plate,
Electric Frying Pans, Electric Urn and Toasters, as well as Cooking Utensils.
Most of the cooking is doe on the large braai and initial wood is provided.
Extra wood is provided at a set price.
Bus Transport is for your account and if you require, we
can arrange for the hire of your bus as well, through a reputable bus company.
Camp Africa specialises in a selection of Wilderness Camps, ranging from 3 day, 2 night camps to 2 day, 1 night camps, 7 day,6 night Holiday Adventure Camps, Weekend ‘Do it Yourself Camps’ and Corporate Breakaway Camps.
A choice of Nature Trails are available which include hiking on Fynbos Mountain Tops, Night
Walks, walking with wild animals at Cape Point, exploring the intertidal zone or bird watching!
Interactive Educational Shows available include Raptors,
Snakes, Whales and Dolphins, Baboons and our Floral Kingdom. Social Development
presentations include HIV and Aids, Substance and Alcohol Abuse. Sustainable
Development programmes include Recycling, Water Audits and Energy Saving.
Choose a selection of these presentations for your camp programme or we
can design a specific programme to cater for your group requirements.
Our experienced Guides are on hand to accompany
your group on these excursions, using the camp as a base. Please feel free

and discuss your individual camp requirements.
The first step is to Contact
Us via phone, fax or e-mail for a prospective date. Once this
has been provisionally booked, you will need to complete a Booking Form
and return it to the office, with a Booking Deposit Fee of R1000. On receipt
of this form and deposit, full details will be sent to you. The form is
available from our Downloads page.
